KUALA LUMPUR, 4 November 2011 – PwC Malaysia was named Malaysia’s Top Graduate Employer at the Malaysia’s 100 Leading Graduate Employers Awards last night. Held at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the Awards celebrate and recognise both the strength of employer brands on campus and excellence in graduate recruitment.
Commenting on the Awards, PwC Malaysia Partner Pauline Ho said, “Graduates today differ very much from those of yesteryears in terms of what they look for in an employer. For any organisation which wants to be an employer of choice, it’s not enough to invest in just building a strong brand among graduates. We also need to be able to offer a compelling proposition for prospective employees.”
“We’re fortunate that PwC’s ongoing efforts in diversity, inclusion and professional growth opportunities – all guided by what we call the PwC Experience - resonate with our young graduates who choose to begin their careers with us. We also work hard at understanding what Generation Y graduates seek from their employers through our Millennials at Work survey. The findings form the basis of our engagement with our people and future employees,” she continued.
PwC also took home the award for Top Graduate Employer in Consulting.
“Our advisory practice is going through a significant growth phase. We’re proud that we attract top talents and this recognition spurs us further in ensuring we deliver the best for our clients,” said Pauline.
