Roles and responsibilities:

  • To support the CS team promote the firm, internally and externally, through online media
  • Implements new technologies for PwC’s external website
  • Works with Content Author/Web Manager to identify areas where new technologies will have to be implemented e.g. RSS feeds, webcasts/podcasts and blogs
  • Produces webcasts and podcasts, flash animation, videos etc
  • Takes photographs and videos to enhance the website
  • Keeps abreast of technological developments, particularly for online media
  • Supports development of new intranet portal
  • Collaborates with external web vendor and inhouse IT team to oversee technical aspects of portal development
  • Assists Human Capital team with technical aspects of their recruitment website (create videos, flash animation, edit photographs for web purposes etc.)
  • Supports Content technical aspects of intranet portal once development is complete
  • Works with Content Author/Web Developer to implement new technologies
  • Executes on all technical requirements including web programming where necessary
  • Supports CS team where necessary

 

Requirements

  • Recognised degree in IT, Engineering, Multimedia or related subjects
  • At least 2 to 3 years in web / multimedia design
  • Web programming – HTML, Web 2.0, Javascripting, Webcast, Podcast
  • Flash Animation, Flash scripting
  • Basic graphic software skills e.g Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Flash
  • Basic Photography, Videography, audiography skills
  • Knowledge of Lotus Notes software/environment
  • Willing to learn and pickup new skills
  • Good command of verbal and written English
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Strong interest and passion in technology and new media
