Overview

 

As a member of the eTax team, you will be involved in monitoring, maintaining and supporting the MS SQL database environment, including backup and restoration, system enhancements and generation of reports. This will include systems design, development and enhancements with preparation of systems documentation. You will also be involved in providing end user support as well as server maintenance- supporting, maintaining and developing networks infrastructure and security.

Requirements

  • A recognised university degree in IT / computer science or related discipline
  • At least 12 months working knowledge in Domino/Notes development or Windows NT/2000 Server and Workstation environment
  • Knowledge of C#.NET.ASP.NET, Visual Basic .6.0/VBA Crystal Reposts and Microsoft SQL
  • Experience in supporting LAN/WAN networks

Additional Job Essentials
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and long hours
  • Good interpersonal and self organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented paradigms would be an added advantage
  • Experience in MS SQL 7.0/2000 database environment will be added advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Notes Domino environment
