Roles and responsibilities:

The Facilities Services function at PwC provides a wide range of services aimed to enhance the firm's day-to-day operations and to help your working day run smoothly. Services range from answering incoming calls through our main switchboard operators to managing the firm's facilities agreements. You will be responsible for providing administrative services and managing office facilities for the PwC head office at 1 Sentral. You will be supported by an Assistant Manager to supervise a large team comprising facilities and administration staff, confidential secretaries and personal assistants. Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Ensure prompt, reliable and uninterrupted office facility services (e.g. mail, hoteling, filing, PABX, fax) to all internal and external clients
  • Partner external vendors, building management and other Internal Firm Services teams to ensure that the following matters are attended to:
    • maintain a clean and safe office environment, including implementation of OSHA and Business Continuity Plan
    • maintain security within the boundaries of the office building and surrounding areas, including car parks and routes to public transportation systems
    • monitor the building management's maintenance of the building and common areas in accordance to the Facility Management Manual agreed in the Lease Agreement
    • procure the best rates for tenancy agreements, supply of products and services
  • To assist the General Manager with the department's budget and exercise control over costs
  • To assist the General Manager to supervise, coach and build a cohesive and motivated team, to consider the development needs and skill sets of the individual team member
  • To attend to adhoc requests

Requirements:

  • Motivated individual with a proven track  record in office administration
  • Experience in managing large teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Good service mindset, organised and able to independently manage a variety of work
