Roles and responsibilities:

You will gather, interpret, and analyse data and apply financial, statistical, accounting, and computer forensics skills to provide cost-effective, proactive strategies and solutions to complex business disputes. You will also get the opportunity to provide quantitative analytic solutions in instances where facts are at issue and the answers are buried in challenging collections of transactional data. The team work together to develop and implement information management systems which allow our clients to manage the data so they can rely upon it to make informed decisions. Currently, our team offers services to both legal and corporate clients in the areas covering Digital Discovery / Computer Forensics, Litigation Support Analysis, Information Technology Expert Services, Bankruptcy Claims Management, Business Application Development and those that include extranet engagements. All members of our Forensic Technology Services team are responsible for planning, scoping, and reporting on projects; developing proposals for potential new engagements, client relationship management, project profitability management, as well as managing, coaching, and developing team members.

Manager / Assistant Manager Requirements:

  • Recognised degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance or Business Administration and/or professional accounting qualification
  • At least 5-8 years experience as public accountant, auditor, internal auditor, engineer, or related occupation.
  • Experience programming on various platforms utilizing data manipulation tools.
  • Experience with relational databases or an ERP system.
  • Experience with business processes and drivers for technology.
  • Experience in a combination of CAAT (Computer Assisted Auditing Technologies), Auditing skills (Financial Audit, Information Technology Audit or Internal Audit), ACL, Oracle, MS Access, SQL, SAS, Visual Basic, or ERP Systems and database technologies.
  • Experience working in multifaceted environments with business, accounting and technology stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of a foreign language is considered a plus.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as the role will be required to deal extensively with clients at all levels
  • Team orientation, analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritise and multitasking
  • Open to extensive travel within the Southeast Asia region

Associate Requirements:

  • Recognised degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance or Business Administration and/or professional accounting qualification
  • At least 5-8 years experience providing technology consulting services focusing on database development, application development, and/or computer forensics in a professional services or equivalent consultancy environment
  • Strong analytical and database development skills are required.
  • Experience working in multifaceted environments with business, accounting and technology stakeholders.
  • Technical certifications or demonstrated progress towards certifications, in the aforementioned technical areas are beneficial such as OCP/OCA, EnCE, IASIS, CFCE, CISSP, MCSA, MCP, CNE, CISA, MCSD or MCSE.
  • Experience in a litigation/investigations environment and knowledge of a foreign language is considered a plus.
  • Experience with any of the following products / tools is beneficial: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic, Microsoft .NET framework, Microsoft Access, SQL, EnCase, Paraben, litigation-support software, Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes/Domino, Hyperion, SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials, or system administration experience in Microsoft, AS400, Linux/Unix, or Macintosh.
