Our Advisory Deals practice provides tailor-made financial advisory services to a broad range of clients whenever their capital structure is modified in some way or a share based transaction is under consideration. Our services combine corporate finance, transaction support services, valuation services and business recovery services, in an industry approach.

We are currently looking for individuals who already have at least 3 years post qualification experience in corporate finance, valuations or transactions services, and a good understanding of the main sectors of economic activity in Mauritius.

Career Opportunities in Finance

PwC is currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Accountant in our Finance Department.


Primary Responsibilities

As a senior member of the team, you will assist the Manager in the preparation of financial statements, monthly reconciliations and preparation of schedules, tax returns and other relevant reports.

You will also be responsible for the processing and analysis of our operational data, making you a key person as we seek to further strengthen our metrics and performance.



  • ACCA qualified or partly qualified
  • At least 3 years experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in computer accounting packages
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping, statutory financial statements, IFRS, VAT and corporate tax


Essential Competencies

  • Analytical individual with attention to details
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (written and spoken)
  • Ability to lead and supervise other staff
  • Demonstrated ability to develop others through knowledge sharing and coaching.
