Malta's leading professional services organisation is looking to expand its IT Advisory team by recruiting a Systems and Process Assurance Associate to join a team delivering IT Audits; IT forensics; Information Security Consultancy and Business Continuity Planning assignments to clients.

The suitable candidate should have a degree in IT or Accountancy and preferably would have achieved or is intending to achieve the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification. The individual should be enthusiastic about IT and security and will receive training on latest developments in the field as well as have access to leading reference material and a network of subject matter experts. One can expect to be working on leading organisations in Malta and would be expected to travel occasional on specific assignments. 1-2 years of experience in a related area will be considered an asset.

 

Information Security Consultant – Reference number: PwC-ISC

Malta's leading professional services organisation is looking to expand its IT Advisory team by recruiting an Information Security Consultant to manage IT Audits; IT forensics; Information Security Consultancy and Business Continuity Planning assignments to clients.

The suitable candidate should have a degree in IT or Accountancy and should be a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). The individual will need to have had at least 4 years of experience in a similar environment at a managerial level, and will manage the technology assurance aspects of the statutory financial audits of the firm as well as delivering process improvement consultancy through independent assessments of internal controls, business and information risks, and efficiency/ effectiveness of business systems and underlying processes.

 

Software Developer – Reference number: PwC-SWD

We are seeking a Software Developer to help us build and maintain applications, provide maintenance and support in an agile software development environment. The developer will also take part in the entire software development cycle, be able to define and enforce coding standard and practices, respect and ensure delivery dates are met, break-down and estimate development issues, assist team operations such as deployments and day-to-day planning.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • Working experience with .NET development environments
  • Bachelors degree or higher in computer science
  • Demonstrable experience with building online solutions
  • Experience in working in small teams using agile programming techniques
  • Ability to scope large elements of projects and calculate estimated delivery
  • Ability to take individual initiative and accountability for assigned work
  • Solid knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, HTML, XML, AJAX, CSS and JavaScript
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server 2008+ and Transact-SQL
  • Good understanding of web technologies and IIS
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint and CRM would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies would be a benefit
  • Knowledge of design patterns and coding best practices would be a benefit
  • Driven and results-oriented with a positive attitude

 

Sales Executive (Training Sector) – Reference number: PwC-SLE

The candidate will be working within a team and will be with primarily responsible to drive and implement the sales strategy of our training operation. The person will be responsible for following up on business leads, generating new leads, expanding market share and achieving sales targets. As a sales executive, the candidate will be required to initiate and follow through requests for training services to ensure client satisfaction.

The role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Developing and co-ordinating innovative and creative training programmes and solutions
  • Preparing client proposals, tracking opportunities and preparing quotations and tenders
  • Implementing client training projects and co-ordinating efforts between the client and the trainers
  • Creating and managing marketing campaigns to achieve targets and results
  • Attending regular meetings with existing and target clients

The candidate should have a tertiary level of education, ideally in the areas of business and/or computing, coupled with a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a similar sales role. The position calls for a proactive person who can work on his/her own initiative and who has a proven sales track record. Although not a prerequisite, experience in training within the finance, business or IT sector will be considered an asset. The position requires a results-oriented individual, who is able to build and maintain strong client relationships and who can communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
