PwC is looking to recruit into its multi-disciplinary asset management team. This team assists funds, fund managers and other investment service providers negotiate the increasingly demanding regulatory landscape they face by offering holistic and commercial solutions. The role entails assisting with regulatory matters faced by regulated business from set-up stage right throughout their business life-cycle. This will include designing the right structure for such businesses, drafting specialised documentation such as offering documents, memoranda and articles of association, licence applications, policies and procedures and other relevant support.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • A post-graduate degree in finance or any related area

Company Accounting and Administration Services

PwC’s IT Academy is looking for tutors, to expand its current Kids IT programme. The tutors must have knowledge in, or are interested in tutoring in the following areas:

  • Minecraft
  • Lego Robotics
  • Computer building and programming
  • Other tools such as Scratch, Python and Raspberry PI

Main responsibilities

The tutors must have:

  • Passion in the subjects above or a strong willingness to learn these subjects
  • Good facilitation skills
  • The ability to transmit own knowledge to young kids
  • Use charisma and creativity in class, to make learning stick
  • Strong written and oral skills in both English and Maltese

Other duties and responsibilities

  • The tutors will help the kids in whatever subject they are having a difficulty with
  • They will devise methods of teaching if the kids are having trouble learning through the conventional method
  • Although we will provide the lesson plans, they may wish to design own ideas in the workshops, so that the little ones can develop the team player attitude

Education

IT/ ICT/ Robotics/ Computer Education qualified or are currently studying at University or MCAST to obtain a degree in IT/ ICT/ Robotics/ Computer Education or a related area.Prior experience in teaching children of similar age group will be considered an asset.
