People Profiles: Julian Caruana

Meet Julian Caruana.

Julian was looking for a new career challenge and exposure to interesting projects when he joined PwC in July 2011. That is exactly what he got... and then some! He is an Associate Consultant in PwC's internal IT team, known to us as GTS (Global Technology Solutions). Julian feels that he is part of a team that work well together, support one another, communicate effectively and take pride in providing their internal and external clients with beneficial IT solutions.

Julian's role centres around IT system administration however it is not limited to this. He enjoys the variety that his job brings with it - be it getting involved in the automation of a key process at PwC, developing of new software, implementing server and infrastructure upgrades or working on new software and hardware technologies. Julian has also made the most of the coaching and training that PwC offers to all members of staff which have helped him in both his professional and personal development. He values the fact that PwC is part of a large and reputable network of firms as he is able to use these connections to understand the 'best practices' in IT solutions that are being used in other PwC territories which has proven to be a valuable learning opportunity for him.
