Women at PwC: Spotlight on Malta

PwC in Malta is the leading professional services firm, with around 400 staff members, providing industry focused assurance, tax and advisory services to enhance value to clients.

Our services include auditing, accounting, risk management, tax advisory, corporate finance and business advisory services.

Women make up just under 60% of the firm, with 45 employees occupying managerial positions. With such a wealth of talent available, across gender, the Malta firm is committed to creating the best possible working environment for all of its staff.

Women in Malta are supported by government sponsored initiatives aimed at encouraging their participation in the workplace, including maternity leave and parental leave.

In addition, PwC Malta provides a range of flexible arrangements to its employees, that are agreed on a one-to-one basis and are aimed at achieving a work-life balance that suits the individual’s needs. These arrangements enable our people to work reduced hours, provide the opportunity to flex their extent and pattern of working as well as provide the opportunity to work partially from home. Additionally, the Malta office is now actively pursuing its plan to open up an on-site nursery to cater for children of its employees.
