Recent changes to the tax department leadership in PwC Mongolia

We are pleased to inform you that we have adjusted our tax team to ensure we are fully prepared to offer the best services to our clients in Mongolia
Peter Burnie will be resuming his role as the tax partner overseeing our team in Mongolia. This role has been undertaken by Abdulkhamid Muminov for the last year and we are very appreciative for his support. He will continue to support the team as a partner in the PwC network to ensure complete continuity of service.
Abdulkhamid mentioned that “[Mongolia] has been a great experience for me in many respects – professionally, culturally, and geographically. I am very happy that have had the chance of meeting you and working with you over the past 12 months.”

Akmal Rustamov has returned to PwC Mongolia’s tax team as a senior manager.
Akmal spent a period of several months in 2012 working the tax team in Mongolia and has agreed to return from April. His responsibilities will include building relationships with all of our clients and managing the delivery of tax services to Mongolian and international clients. He brings more than 12 years of international experience to this role.
