Our Middle East firm is a driver of growth in the global PwC network, and we are looking to expand our Marketing, Communications and Brand team to support the growth plans of the business.
We are looking for an established manager-level candidate with first-rate communication skills. We need someone who has excellent writing skills for all types of media (e.g. print, online, script and speech writing) and experience of managing projects (e.g. video messaging, interactive pdfs, townhall meetings/events, campaigns). We’d like someone who has a track record of bringing fresh thinking, creativity and innovative ideas to their work. You’ll be dealing with all grades – from partners to support staff - so the ability to build and develop relationships is really important.
This is a really exciting challenge for an internal communicator and a great opportunity to refresh our internal communications strategy within a dynamic part of the PwC network.
You need to be able to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders and provide both strategic and tactical communication support. So, you’ll need to be able to plan and manage an internal communications strategy (providing input into the overall Marketing and Communications plan), but also ‘roll your sleeves up’ to get things done. From time to time you’ll need to help others out with their priorities – so you need to be a really great team player.
You will need to evaluate our existing communications channels and plans (effectiveness /ROI), and recommend and implement changes to streamline current practice. You’ll be tasked with providing internal communications support to our Leadership team, some Human Capital priorities and Spark (our PwC internal business social networking tool), as well as much more.
You’ll report in to a senior manager within the Marketing and Communications team, and will work closely with colleagues in other M&C roles. You won’t have people management responsibility but you will be required to ‘coach’ non-communicators on the best ways to communicate and get their message across.
The jobholder will be expected to take the initiative, make decisions, work collaboratively and to have a ‘can do’ approach.
