We take part not only in careers fairs held annually at various universities but also in Shadow Day.
In 2012 we were taking part in the following events:
Days of Opportunities 2012 at Stockholm School of Economics
PwC took part in Days of Opportunities 2012 at Stockholm School of Economics on 30 March.
We offered several activities including
- Career with PwC, a presentation by Terēze Labzova, a manager in Assurance, and
- a stand where students could ask our team questions about PwC and career opportunities.
Career Day 2012 at Riga Technical University
PwC took part in Career Day 2012 at Riga Technical University on 22 March.
We offered several activities including
- Career with PwC: Myth and Truth, a presentation by Uldis Bērziņš, senior consultant in Advisory, and
- a stand where students could ask our team questions about PwC and career opportunities.
Career Day 2012 at Banking School of Business and Finance
PwC took part in Careers Fair 2012 at Banking School of Business and Finance on 14 February.
We gave two presentations:
- Career with PwC: Myth and Truth by Jana Smirnova, director in Assurance; and
- ACCA: Advantages and Opportunities.
Shadow Day 2012 on 15 February
There’s a nice yearly tradition in PwC that we take part in Shadow Day. During this event many students from Latvian schools visit professionals working for various organisations. On 15 February seven shadows from Bauska, Ogre, Krāslava and Rīga visited our office to find out what we do and how we do it.
