Training Programme for top managers of a local bank
A major local bank requested a programme targeting around 50 top managers in the bank (Heads of divisions and departments) in 4 groups of around 12 managers.
The major objectives of the programme were:
- To support managers with their own career development and to provide appropriate training and development opportunities for them
- To create and develop a sophisticated management culture at the bank
- To improve the quality of cooperation between the various divisions and departments
- To develop skills so as to ensure all managers can function effectively as motivators and coaches for their teams
Our solution approach
The program was made up of 3 consecutive modules (2 days each) held at 6 – 8 weeks' interval in the bank's premises.
The main characteristics of the programme were:
- Needs analysis conducted with internal Steering Group, based on a staff survey
- Tailoring training contents and learning approach
- Materials included case studies, learning log and a participant handbook
- High degree of interactivity in the facilitation
- Feedback to the Executive Committee with an analysis and recommendations
- Final evaluation review after several months to assess impact
