Our ability to listen is the first step that guides all our internal actions as a firm. We actively solicit the opinions of our staff and partners with our “Global People Survey” as this allows us to mirror reality more closely and bring pertinent responses to expectations voiced.
In addition to such active listening, PwC has had a Code of Conduct for almost 5 years now. It is a formal expression of our commitments concerning excellence, teamwork and leadership but also the framework along which PwC has developed its concept of Corporate Social Responsibility. For a firm like ours, it is important to go beyond merely obeying the rules of our profession.
A Code however is simply an expression of what ought to be done; for it to matter, it has to be put into practice and in this respect, it is the responsibility of everyone.
