Selection Procedure

Each year we recruit young graduates for several of our departments. Each individual who joins PricewaterhouseCoopers is different but we all have two things in common: passion for our profession and eagerness to learn and develop.

Interviews

Although academic ability does play an important role in our selection process, we also take other factors and personal qualities into consideration that we feel are important in our people. It is important that you spend time researching your choice of Line of Service before you apply and take time to carefully prepare your CV and motivation letter as this can really make your application stand out.

When you submit your completed CV and motivation letter, they will be reviewed by a team of Audit, Tax and Advisory professionals. If you are successful at this stage of the selection process, you will be invited to attend an interview and presentation which will give you an opportunity to meet staff and partners from your chosen Line of Service.

The Audit and Advisory practices hold two interviews where you will meet senior members of staff. The format of both interviews will be competency-based focusing on your career choice, motivation, commitment, commercial awareness, team working and communication skills.

The Tax practice holds an interview in the same format as described above and a case study where you will be asked to treat a case study: gather and integrate relevant information, summarise it, make conclusions and propose solutions or express your personal opinion.

Final step

If you are successful at both interviews, you will receive a job offer. The offer will give you details of the terms and conditions of your employment with PricewaterhouseCoopers. You will be expected to accept or decline the offer.
