From 1 July 2003 PwC' firm in Lithuania is led by Managing Partner, Christopher C. Butler. Chris graduated from Oxford University in 1989 and joined PwC in London immediately afterwards. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 and shortly thereafter became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Chris first visited Lithuania in 1994 on a banking project, which aroused his interest in the Baltic region and at his own request he transferred to Riga in 1995, to help with the growth of PricewaterhouseCoopers practice there. In 1997, he moved to Vilnius where he has worked ever since. First he specialised in the financial services sector although now he works with clients across all industries. In his spare time, Chris plays rugby and football and has helped to set up and actively participates in the activities of the British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania.
