PricewaterhouseCoopers - The Workplace of the Year 2010

On 28 April 2011 PwC Lithuania won the Workplace of the Year Award at the National Responsible Business Award ceremony held at Vilnius University.

The firm was awarded for consistency in building professional relationships and innovative communication culture among the employees. The jury highlighted such corporate social responsibility strategy purposes as the dialogue between the employer and employees, good working conditions and favourable company’s environment, as well as the implementation and development of motivation and welfare programmes.

“In 2010 we continued the development and improvement of motivation tools for employees by enhancing their communication culture and encouraging each employee to share his or her extraordinary personal and professional experience. We are constantly improving the performance coaching and development system which assures consistent development process and objective feedback programme”– said Chris Butler, Country Managing Partner.

It was the fourth National Responsible Business Award granted to the firm. PricewaterhouseCoopers was announced the Workplace of the Year 2007 as an attractive working place which applies high social standards for employees and the Partner of the Year 2008 for the promotion of the young generation’s initiative, active and creative performance. The firm was awarded as the Workplace of the Year 2009 for an exceptional ability to face the economic downtown, quickly respond to the challenges and for the employees’ initiative.
