Paul Donovan

Specialist area: Investment Management

Paul Donovan is the leader of the Fund Referred Reporting Engagement (FRRE) Group in the Cayman Islands. He has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University, New Zealand, and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and the CFA Institute.

He has 16 years experience in the Investment Management Industry in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the Cayman Islands, 14 of which have been with PricewaterhouseCoopers (and one of its predecessor firms).


Mr. Donovan is a founding member of PricewaterhouseCoopers Global IFRS Investment Management Industry Accounting Group ("IAG") whose primary role is the resolution of IFRS technical issues affecting the Investment Management Industry. He is also Leader of the Hedge Funds/Mutual Funds sub-sector working group of the IAG and has authored a number of publications on the application of IFRS to the Investment Management Industry.

 He is also a member of the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants (“CISPA”).
