Specialist area: Asset management
Partner Paul Donovan has led the fund referred reporting engagement (FRRE) group in the Cayman Islands since its inception in 2002. He has more than 20 years of experience in the asset management industry, primarily in the United Kingdom and the Cayman Islands, 18 of which have been with PwC and one of its predecessor firms.
Paul is a founding member of the PwC global IFRS asset management industry accounting group (IAG), whose primary role is the resolution of IFRS technical issues affecting the industry. He is a member of the hedge funds/mutual funds sub-sector working group of the IAG and has authored a number of publications on the application of IFRS to the asset management industry.
A member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants and the CFA Institute, Paul has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University, New Zealand.
