Hwang-Young(Harry) Ki is currently positioned as the leader of Total Service Group 4 and the Market & Growth Leader of Samil PwC.
Mr. Ki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a MBA degree of Michigan State University and he also completed the chief executives program of the Seoul National University.
Mr. Ki had started his career at Deloitte & Touche LLP Chicago office and joined Samil PwC in 1999. He has been a partner since 2004, and prior to his current position, he served as Korea territory CF leader of PwC global. Mr. Ki led major Corporate Finance projects including domestic and cross-border sell/buy side M&A transactions by leveraging his exceptional skills and capacity.
Since he joined the firm, Mr. Ki sourced and completed landmark M&A projects including Pan Ocean, POSCO, KDB Daewoo Securities, Hanbo Iron & Steel, Tongyang Cement, Ssangyong Cement, Daewoo Electronics, Dongbu group, Kumho Tire, Daehan Cement, Dongah Construction Industrial, Kumho Industrial, Hyundai LCD, Hankook Tire, Cho Heung Bank, and many others. Also, he successfully executed diverse cross-border M&A deals, including Dongah Tire, China subsidiaries of POSCO, Jindo, Ssangyong Motors, Jinbang Steel, BOE HYDIS, Dong Sung, Hitachi Shipbuilding, Mando, Ssangyoung, CJ group, Li&Fung, and many others. Mr.Ki served as a vice-president of Korea Elementary School Table Tennis Federation since 2017.
