Young-Sik Kim is the managing partner of audit and assurance services. Prior to this, Mr. Kim was the managing partner of Tax Services from July 2008 to June 2011. With 31 years of experience, including two years at PwC’s Frankfurt office, Mr. Kim has assisted major Korean multinationals in the TICE industry with innovative audit methodology and diverse business advisory services.
Y.S. Kim is a member of many public organizations including the public relations committee of the Korea Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a committee of the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs. He also serve as external directors of several non-profit organizations including CJ Culture Foundation, BBB Korea, S-Oil Science & Culture Foundation and CJ Donors Camp.
Y.S. Kim received an Award from the Minister of Finance & Economy in 2003 for making contributions to the development of the Korean audit and accounting system. In the same year, he also received an award from the Korea Listed Companies Association for outstanding performance in the CPA profession. In 2004, he was also awarded by Korea’s President in recognition of his contribution to the advancement of accounting industry.
Mr. Kim holds a bachelor's degree in business administration of Korea University and a doctor's degree in Kookmin University. He also attended the program for chief executives of the Harvard Business School.
