Sang-Tai(ST) Choi,as head of the Risk Management & Independence office, is responsible for firm-wide risk management and independence. ST’s career at Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers began more than 30 years ago and includes a brief 2 year tour in PwC’s LoS Angeles office.
Prior to taking the current responsibility, ST led the Assurance practice and the Deal Business in Korea. ST actively participated in the professional rule setting processes as a board member of Korea Accounting Standards Board.
ST is a member of both the Korea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration from Korea University and his Ph.D. from Hanyang University.
