• IFRS Roadmap in Korea
  On 15 March 2007, the Korean Financial Service Commission (the former Financial Supervisory Commission) together with the Korean Accounting Standards Board officially announced Korea’s roadmap to IFRS, marking a formal commitment to adopt IFRS into the national GAAP by 2009. The IFRS adopted in Korea will be the word-for-word IFRS’s as issued by IABS without modification.
