PwC Japan Refreshes its Branding and Introduces New Logo

Tokyo, 07 October 2010 - PricewaterhouseCoopers Japan (PwC Japan) is changing its branding with effect from 12 October. “PwC”, which to date has been used as an abbreviation, has now been adopted as the official brand name. The logo has been redesigned accordingly.

The renewal of the brand in Japan is part of the global rebranding underway at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), the world’s leading professional services firm. PwC member firms around the world will now use the new logo along with the official name of the brand, “PwC”.  “PricewaterhouseCoopers” remains the full name of the global organisation for legal purposes.

This new branding represents a promise to offer our clients value-added services while changing with the swiftly changing times and staying ahead of the time. The new brand logo expresses the deepening of the relationships between PwC and its clients, and the provision of varied solutions to help them create value.

PwC Japan refers to the member firms of the PwC global network in Japan - PricewaterhouseCoopers Aarata, PricewaterhouseCoopers Co., Ltd., Zeirishi-Hojin PricewaterhouseCoopers, and their subsidiaries. The corporate name of each firm of PwC Japan remains the same.
