Introduction of Japanese Business Services

Thailand is a traditional hub of Japanese investment in South East Asia. The country held about 12% of Japan’s FDI stock in the region in 2012, and received about 9% of yearly FDI flows to Asia for the past five years.

A standout in this part of the world, Thailand experienced a doubling of FDI inflows since 2000. Japanese businesses will have a growing need for a superior globalization partner with extensive knowledge in the region to preserve their interests in this key emerging economy.

In 1988, PwC Thailand established a specialized Japanese business unit to respond to the needs of the burgeoning automotive industry. The Japanese business team now offers tailored services to fit a wide range of Japanese clients. There is eight full time Japanese staff – complemented by the broad range of our local Thai professionals.
