PwC Jamaica is pleased to announce the admission of Recardo Nathan to the partnership effective 1 July 2011.
Mr. Nathan joined the firm in 1997. Formerly a Senior Manager and Group Leader in the firm’s Assurance practice, he has accumulated fourteen years of experience in providing audit services to a wide spectrum of clients, including government/public sector, energy, financial services, and manufacturing and distribution. Further to this, he has extensive experience in the preparation and review of consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS, and reporting on the accounts of groups of companies both locally and overseas.
Mr. Nathan will continue his focus on Assurance services, in particular external audit.
He is currently a member of the Accounting Standards Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ), and a member of the Firm’s Technical Committee which deals with the interpretation of new International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He also serves as the project team manager for the Firm’s Quality Management Systems Committee.
Mr. Nathan holds a Diploma from University of Technology Jamaica as well as Masters in Business Administration from the Manchester Business School. He is a fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ).
