PwC supports new event in the Jersey sporting calendar

PwC is supporting an exciting and unique new event in the Jersey sporting calendar. The Jersey Rugby Association are organising a dual event at St Brelades beach by the Oyster Box, Saturday 2 July 2011.
‘TryRugby - Be Converted'
A taster introductory rugby workshop targeting 18 – 21 year olds who are no longer exposed to rugby through school, but may with encouragement become interested in playing again and join a local team.
‘Jersey International Beach Rugby Tournament'
An annual event open to male and female local corporate teams and off island teams. The first year's event included a 'demonstration game' by the England Women's Rugby Team against a local side, it was an action packed afternoon, with Matt Banahan opening the tournament as ambassador for the local charity, Holidays for Heroes, which the event supported. Ladies England squad members played a demonstration game against a local team and his Excellency the Lieutenant Governor attended to present the trophies to the winners.
