Working with students from across the UK, you tackle a topical business project and make project presentations to the business. It boosts your employability and we stay in touch with you after the event. You could even secure a place on our Island INS1GHT Internship.
Island 1nsight internships
For penultimate-year uni students, around six weeks during the summer, doing the same kind of role as our graduate recruits, working alongside our specialists. Soak up complex business information, boost your commercial awareness, interpersonal skills and self-confidence. Find out if we’re right for you. If we are and you perform well, you may even get a job offer!
Permanent training contracts
Secure yourself a 3 year training contract with us and you’re in. Get set for a blended learning programme involving professional qualifications, gaining knowledge of the industry and market, self development, awareness and leadership skills.
Headstart
Decided against university? Join us after A Levels or equivalent and start working towards qualifying professionally, either a Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Accountant (ACA) right away. You train as a HeadStart Generalist working in Assurance or Tax and you’re likely to gain your professional qualification much earlier than your uni friends, usually within three years.
For penultimate year students on 4 year sandwich degree courses, these really are win win. A whole year earning a salary, gaining invaluable industry experience and if you are a permanent candidate, you can also follow the same study programme as our graduate trainees. So when you rejoin us after your final year, you could have only two years left until you qualify.
