John is based in the Guernsey office of PwC CI. He trained with the firm having moved from the UK in 1996 where he was a Senior Buyer with an automotive manufacturer.
He has developed unique skills in servicing a broad base of financial services relationships within the alternative asset management, insurance, fiduciary and banking sectors.
John spent some time in industry as the CFO of a private equity administration business before returning to PwC as a director in 2008 where he led led the development and integration of the firm’s private equity offering across audit, advisory and tax. His industry insights, particularly those gained whilst working in industry, have given him a valuable capacity to understand our clients' perspective on and approach to current challenges and strategic planning. John uses this to identify risks and opportunities for our clients particularly in the UK and Nordic regions. His wider global roles make him well connected and able to draw upon global PwC network expertise with ease to support clients as they drive their businesses forward.
John was educated at the Royal Latin School in Buckingham and at the University of Keele where he read Management Science and French. He is married to Joanne and has two children, Leyla and Jake. Outside work John is a keen cricketer and confesses to being strangely addicted to tending his fruit and vegetable garden.
As well as leading the transformation of internal auditing processes, John’s continued focus will be on further optimising our global Private Equity network. John aims to make sure that our existing and potential clients in this vital asset class understand and take advantage of the value our local firm and our global network delivers.
