Libby was born and educated in Guernsey. She joined PwC in 2000 as an audit trainee after completing her A-Levels at the Grammar School, and qualified as an accountant with ACCA aged 21.
Libby developed experience across all sectors of the financial services industry early in her career before specialising in asset management upon promotion to manger in 2005.
In 2010 Libby transferred to PwC Australia. Based in Sydney, she worked closely with high profile listed real estate groups and asset managers, advising them on regulatory and financial reporting matters and helping them through complex structuring issues. As well as further deepening her global asset management experience, she also pursued her interest in workplace diversity and inclusion. Raising awareness of the importance and benefits of harnessing people's potential through embracing gender, age, cultural, sexual and skills diversity is something Libby aims to continue working on in the Channel Islands.
In July 2012 Libby was promoted to Director within the Australian firm, allowing her to work more closely with the asset management community leaders, helping them to understand and navigate the current financial and regulatory challenges facing the Asia pacific region.
Libby will return to Guernsey with her fiancé, Alex and newborn baby, Maxwell, to join the leadership team of PwC Channel Islands on a flexible hours basis starting in November 2013. Libby brings with her a global perspective on the current challenges facing the asset management sector and is very much looking forward to sharing her experience with local clients and helping shape the future of Guernsey's financial services community.
