Due diligence is a service PricewaterhouseCoopers carries out for buyers, sellers or other negotiators. Due diligence is about analysing the position of a company, such as its financial position, for both parties to understand and know of all important matters during negotiations.

How is due diligence carried out?
Due diligence entails gathering important information on a company, or some of the company’s operational units, for executives or buyers to make informed decisions about the future and the company’s direction. Due diligence can clarify issues which need to be dealt with, changes which need to be done or simply confirm that everything is as it should be.

Due diligence conducted by independent advisors are informative and can cover a range of issues. Due diligence can be divided in following categories:
