The sustainability team assists clients in protecting and enhancing their shareholder value by integrating sustainability risks and opportunities into core strategy and operations and advising them on climate change related issues. We support our clients in defining their climate strategies, planning and implementation of various management system related to climate change, environment, health, safety, social and economic.

Our services include:

  • CDM project development : We help companies manage the entire project life cycle including: identification of the most cost effective emissions reduction  projects. Assessment of sustainable development benefits, development of the project as CDM project activity, strategic advise for monetisation  of emission reductions, global transaction management and carbon asset management.
  • Climate change strategy : We help clients integrate climate change considerations, emission abatement strategies, regulatory compliance, and revenue optimising opportunities into their business strategy.
  • Sustainability reporting : We help Clients in reporting on their social, environmental and economic sustainability. PwC has been one of the founding members of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and has contributed to the development of the G1, G2 and G3 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, produced by the GRI for sustainability reporting.
  • Sustainability Due Diligence : We provide transaction support to our Clients on issues concerning environmental health and safety; and corporate reputation.
  • Life Cycle Management : We provide advisory services on supply-chain risk management and life cycle analysis based carbon labeling for products to Clients to assess the environmental footprint of the products and services they supply.
  • Reporting related service : We verify the robustness of environmental management and emissions tracking systems and emissions data. We act as lead advisors in establishment of global methodologies for calculation and reporting of corporate GHG emissions / inventory and  development of sustainability reports.
