Half yearly India M&A update 2007

According to this report, the Indian economy grew at 9.4 percent during the fiscal year end March 2007 (2006- 07), its strongest performance in the last eighteen years. Also, it witnessed heightened deal activity in the first half of 2007 with the value of M&A transactions crossing US$ 55 billion, spread over 550 deals, far exceeding the total deal value recorded for all of 2006.
