Shay is the CEO of Kesselman Global Risk Management Solutions PriceWaterhouseCoopers Ltd. (GRMS), a part of PwC Israel consulting group.
Shay joined the Israeli firm in 2001. He has over 18 years of IT experience, originating in system programming, information system analysis and project management. In the past, he was responsible for founding the Information Security department at the Israeli Air Force and participated in establishing a startup which was the first TTP CA in Israel. During his career at PwC, he also served as the Israeli firms’ CSO (Chief Security Officer) and as the PwC global Network Security Subject Matter Expert (SME).
At PwC Israel, Shay is responsible for the delivery of Advisory IT management services. From his experience working with different industries and in the Israeli and Global market, including dealing with varying regulations and complex IT issues relating to foreign multinationals, operating in Israel, Shay is able to assist clients in resolving the issues faced by the evolving IT and risk management environments.
Among his clients are: Bank Leumi Le-Israel Ltd., The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Makhteshim-Agan industries Ltd., The Israel Electric corporation Ltd., and SanDisk IL Ltd..
Shay has a global experience in security information technology projects, Forensics, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) projects.
Shay graduated from Mamram, the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) technical unit in 1990 and subsequently attained his Bachelors degree as well as his Masters degree in Computer Science. Both degrees awarded by the Open University of Israel. He has graduated from Kellogg-Recanati international program EMBA of the Tel-Aviv University.
Shay is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), a Certified in Risk and System Control (CRISC) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
In addition, he is an active member in the Israeli Chamber of Information System Analysts, the ISACA management council in Israel and serves as the chairman of the ISACA professional committee in Israel.
