Benny is a partner in the Israel Accounting Consulting Services (Israel ACS Group) of PwC Israel.
Benny joined the Israeli firm in 1994, and gained expertise in supporting companies through the listing process on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE), advising underwriters and helping companies whose financial statements are included in prospectuses issued in the US. To this end, he works with technical units of the Israel Securities Authority, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other accounting firms in Israel and internationally.
Benny coordinates services to the financial sector by the ACS Group. He also leads the group's expertise team on financial instruments that study developments in accounting and financial reporting of financial instruments, and educates professionals within PwC Israel, clients and other external parties. Among his various roles in the firm, Benny has taken part in countless accounting advisory engagements, and led engagements with Israeli companies in all industries, including insurance, retail, industry and hi-tech.
Benny holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics (with distinction) and Master's degree in Business Administration, majoring in Financing and Accounting, both awarded by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Also, he has a Master's degree in Statistics and Actuary awarded by Haifa University.
Benny is qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in Israel.
