PricewaterhouseCoopers ranked as global leader in business advisory services and management consulting, according to Kennedy

PwC ranks number one in business advisory services and management consulting.

Kennedy Consulting Research & Advisory, the leading research and advisory firm, has ranked PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) number one in Business Advisory Services and Management Consulting in its Global Consulting Marketplace 2008-2011 report.

This latest report and ranking confirms PwC’s market leading position as a provider of Business Advisory Services and Management Consulting. With over 25,000 Advisory professionals around the world, and over 200 in the Republic of Ireland, PwC works with over 80 percent of the world’s Fortune 500 companies and over two-thirds of Ireland’s top 200 companies.

Ronan Murphy, Senior Partner, PwC Ireland said:

"Our approach is to bring the benefit of our international capabilities, across our Advisory, Tax and Assurance businesses to our clients -- bringing the "right" team of professionals and our significant experience and knowledge to bear on client issues. Key to making this happen is the very close collaboration with our colleagues right across the PwC network. In the current challenging environment, this international reach, facilitated through our new cluster structure, is especially important as our clients across the globe are grappling with similar issues and seeking to make the right decisions to ensure their future sustainability".

According to the Kennedy report, PwC is well positioned to help clients to manage the downturn. "At PwC Ireland, we're working closely with our clients to help them deal with the very challenging business and economic climate," said Paul Tuite, Advisory Leader, PwC Ireland. "We're providing a range of practical, cost effective and strategic solutions to help organisations survive the difficult environment, to find opportunities caused by the current uncertainty, and to implement sustainable changes that can transform and improve their business, both today -- and for the long term."
