Coaching and mentoring

We are often asked by our clients to identify executive coaches and/or business mentors to support their Executive Development Programmes or to work on a specific business issue. This is a growing area and while there is a myriad of service providers many organisations are relatively new to selecting coaches and mentors and often need advice. Clients often ask about the difference between a coach and a mentor? We understand the fundamental difference. As a result our approach is a diagnostic one which refers individuals to the right coach or mentor who will support them in their own development or help them deal with any business issues.

  • Executive coaching is where an individual meets with a coach on a one-to-one basis to work on a range of work/performance related issues over a set time period, usually six months. We select from our panel of highly trained executive coaches who use advanced skills of learning, questioning and reflection to create highly effective conversations and experiences for the coachee; through the use of real issues the coachee sets their own learning goals and methods. External coaches can also be used as part of leadership development programmes or in support of an organisational change effort.

  • Mentoring connects our clients with respected business professionals who have extensive senior level experience who understand complex business challenges and who give advice, often on a one-to-one basis, to senior executives on how to handle issues that are impacting their business.
