There are several types of entity that can be established in Ireland, e.g. private limited companies, private unlimited companies, public companies and companies limited by guarantee. However, the following details will commonly be required for all new incorporations:-
- Company name
- Two Directors, names and personal details (one of which must be Irish resident - except where a bond to the value of Eur25,394.76 is put in place). Requirements for Irish resident directors
- Company secretary (which may be one of the directors)
- Registered office address (which must be in the State)
- Proposed authorised and issued share capital
- Name and address of at least one shareholder (2 in the case of unlimited companies, 7 in the case of a public company, or guarantee company)
- Activities of the company
- Place where trade is to be carried on
- Place of central administration.
