FAQ
If you do not see the answer to your question below, feel free to contact us.

  • What graduate positions are available?

We have graduate positions in our Assurance, Advisory and Actuarial practices.

  • How do I apply?

Application is by on-line application form only, which can be found on the Apply Now page.

  • What is involved in the recruitment process?

    Step 1. Application Form
The online application process is simple and gives you as much time as you need to get your application form spot on. Make sure you outline not only your academic record and other achievements but also the reasons behind your career choice and for choosing PwC. If your application is successful you will be invited to attend a presentation where you will meet PwC people, prior to your interview.

    Step 2. Attend an interview
This will be at one of our offices or near campus, and gives you the chance to show us you’ve thought carefully about your career choice plus the skills you have and wish to develop during your early career. We’ll explore your understanding of our business and our services, as well as how you work and communicate with others.

    Step 3. Receive an offer
We’ll let you know whether we’d like to make you an offer as soon after your interview as possible.

  • What is the preferred education level to be qualified for application?

Our graduate openings require a minimum of a bachelor's degree to apply. You must be on track for or have achieved at minimum of a 2.1 degree or equivalent.

  • Must I have studied accountancy or business?

No. We accept applications from students from all disciplines. However, if you are from a non-relevant degree background we may ask you to complete the Professional Diploma in Accounting which is available in DCU and Aungier Street DIT. Further information on sponsorship of this course can be found at Entry Routes.

  • Where are PwC offices in Ireland?

PwC has 7 offices in Ireland; Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford, Wexford and Kilkenny. Further information on each office can be found on our Locations page.

  • Can I apply for more than one position in each Line of Service?

No. You are advised to prioritise your preference and apply for one position within one line of service. However, you will be considered for one position at a time, i.e. your first choice. If your background does not match the requirements of your first choice, we will consider if you are suitable for the second or third choice.

  • After I have gone through one or more stages of the selection process, is it still possible for me to change my preference of the Lines of Service?

Before you submit your application form, we advise you to think carefully of your ability, interests and qualifications that best match the requirements of the lines of service that you are going to apply.
As the requirements of different lines of service may vary, we do not encourage students to change their preference during or after the selection process.

  • How can I verify if my profile has been successfully completed? Or if my application has been successfully sent?

Once your online application form has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email and a link to your ‘communication centre’ which will allow you to track your application

  • Will I be notified if I'm not selected for the position I applied for?

Yes. Unsuccessful candidates will be notified via email during the selection process.

  • How can I prepare for my interview?

Our Interview Tips page will give you advice on how to prepare for and complete a good interview.

  • Can I take a year out before joining?

It is possible to take a year out after college and before starting work with PwC. However, everything is dealt with on a case by case basis and you must let us know your intentions at interview stage.
