The 2007 Indonesian Economic Crime survey results provide an insight into the level of awareness of fraud in Indonesia; the major issues facing Indonesia; the typical perpetrators of fraud, as well as suggesting methods to mitigate the occurrence of fraud. The 2007 survey has identified Indonesia as one of the top seven emerging countries that offer outstanding growth. While the huge potential of the country provides an attractive investment climate, the PwC survey reveals that businesses operating within this country face significant challenges in detecting and deterring fraud.
