Associate (Job Code: Asso - TLS)

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding team objectives and cooperating and collaborating with others to achieve them when doing projects, i.e. monthly and annual tax compliance, tax dispute, tax advisory, and due diligence review, including but not limited to:
    • Preparing proposal and independence clearance/ risk management procedures.
    • Communicating with client regarding the completion of the data or documents requested and remind client about the deadline to settle or submit the payments, tax return, and objection/ appeal/ judicial review letter.
    • Preparing tax calculation, tax return, reconciliation/ data recapitulation/ working papers, and letters.
    • Liaising with the seniors to ensure that the final tax calculation, final tax return, and the letter have been sent to client.
    • Filing the documents and correspondences properly.
  • Conducting accurate research in an organized manner, using full range of available tools.
  • Participating in discussion utilizing appropriate terminology, including but not limited to:
    • Attending meeting with the client or the tax officer.
    • Attending tax hearing session/ tax reconciliation.
    • Preparing minutes of meeting.
  • Recognizing potential road blocks to completing tasks and seeks guidance from supervisors to address issues.
  • Demonstrating and awareness of workloads, offering to help team members and taking on additional tasks when appropriate.

 

Desired Candidates:

  • A fresh graduate up until 2 years working experience.
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Fiscal/ Finance/ Economics with GPA minimum 3.00 out of 4.00.
  • Has an organizational experience.
  • Eyes for details.
  • Good team player and enjoy working collaboratively with people from variety of backgrounds.
  • Good adaptability in dynamic working environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.



Senior Associates (Job Code: SA - TLS)

Responsibilities:

Senior associate will be the leader at field work in handling compliance, tax dispute, tax due diligence, tax advisory, and audit support projects, including but not limited to:
  • Participating in project planning, administration and economics, e.g., budgeting, staffing, billing, and time analysis.
  • Playing active role in discussions and meetings, both with client and team, providing substantive input delivered at the appropriate time, including but not limited to:
    • Participating in the discussion with the team in pre engagement activities
    • Managing communication channel with internal team, associates and managers, and external parties including Tax Government officials and clients, as needed
    • Interlock with other Line of Services for specific projects
  • Delegating tasks; prioritizing and managing assignments of self and others with a focus on completion within budget as well as progress monitoring up until deliverables and completion of project.
  • Establishing and communicating roles and expectations for staff at the start of the project; providing clear guidance and direction concerning objectives of the work as well as delegation of task to each of project’s team members.
  • Guiding team members on the application of standard Firm approaches and methodologies.
  • Demonstrating importance of quality by reviewing work products of others and making necessary modification including review works done by associate level to ensure a detail, accurate and timely mannered deliverables.
  • Others as necessary, such as:
    • Doing research and analyzing tax issues.
    • Preparing documents, i.e. client’s tax return, supporting documents, response letter for related parties

  • 3 - 5 years related working experience
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Fiscal/ Finance/ Economics with GPA minimum 3.00 out of 4.00.

Transfer Pricing Professional at various levels
Position Job Code : TP – TLS

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work in a team environment to help deliver transfer pricing advice to PwC clients
  • Identify client expectation on the engagement, actively participate and lead technical discussions internally and propose solutions to the clients
  • Identify market opportunities to procure more TP work for the practice and/ or assist the senior members in business development efforts
  • Take the responsibility for learning for self and peer group by developing a learning and development plan with the coach

Desired Candidates:

  • Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Economics. Strong in mathematics would be a plus
  • Assertive and active personality with a strong communication skill
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented working style
  • Strong technical skills required for experienced professionals
  • Proficient level in English both written and spoken language
