Interns tell the stories - William Laloan

I joined PwC Indonesia (PwC) Internship Program in Assurance - CIPSTICE division from September 2010 for 3 months. As this was my first working experience, it was challenging and not an easy task to be done. Fortunately, the PwC work environment is very supportive for skills improvement, both in technical and in enhancing our leadership skills. PwC readily provides learning materials in Knowledge Management; trainings by L&E Department; peer-to-peer coaching; and interpersonal skills. To succeed and progress, we need will, effort and hard work

Another PwC trait that I admire is work-life balance. It is a positive element which encourages us to balance our work with other fun activities such as joining soccer team, badminton, photography, basketball and many others. Every year, there will be sports championship held between PwC divisions. Such events are organised to foster bonds within the PwC team.

After 3 months of hard work, my manager offered me a direct hire as an Associate 2. I am very proud and grateful to be a member of PwC Indonesia team. This Internship Program gave me an extraordinary opportunity to gain an understanding about work environment and culture in PwC Indonesia. It has adequately equipped me with the PwC Experience.
