"I can say that my overall experience in the company was really wonderful. For the first time, I was anxious to find out how the life from inside of PwC Indonesia (PwC) looks like, and how does it feel to be part of PwC, but it did not last long. While interning at PwC, I was given the opportunity to learn in a challenging and progressive work environment and also built relationship with colleagues and clients. I was challenged with the work and learned a lot about taxes and have got a big picture what tax season looks like. I was given the chance on varied set of responsibilities around the office and to become involved in significant projects which never be the same and always challenging. I also had ample opportunities for training as well as the ability to gain a ton of knowledge about tax season process. The internship also really built on what I have learned in my tax accounting classes, so it was nice to get practical experience applying classroom theory. It always good to have an exposure in the real world and handling data from real life project was really exciting. I have been able to relate what I am learning in classes with experience on the job. Working with fun people who were willing to share their hard earned knowledge was the most rewarding aspect of my internship. It has been wonderful dynamic experience with great colleagues. The great atmosphere made sure that interns were warmly welcomed, integrated and treated the same as other team members. There was much interaction between all levels of employees than I had expected. I loved when the partners came by my cubicle to drop things off that they had assigned to me. It made me feel that much more valuable to the PwC team. I also like that everyone was able to get their work done without taking everything too seriously. Undoubtedly, it has been a great experience and privileged to shared and learned from an excellent team of professionals. Moreover, I learned that succeeding in professional setting not only means you must have the skills to complete the necessary tasks, but you must also possess the attitude and personal skills to communicate with a level head in any situation that may be encountered. It was a great pleasure for me to work at PwC and I would like to recommend fellow mates to apply for internships." |
