What is CPD?

All ACCA Members are required to obtain 40 ACCA CPD (Continuing Professional Development) units during one year to show their continuous development process, unless a Member works for an ACCA Approved Employer.
ACCA recognises that members need practical options for achieving CPD. The extensive research, which underpinned the development of the policy, found that the members wanted to complete their CPD in a number of different ways. For ACCA members who are not working for an ACCA Approved Employer, this means that they are required to complete 40 relevant units of CPD each year, where one unit is equal to one hour of development. Twenty-one units must be verifiable; the other 19 can be non-verifiable.
How can the PwC's Academy help?
The PwC's Academy is the first professional training provider in Hungary to be accredited as an ACCA CPD Provider. You will receive a certificate after the succesful completion of each of our seminars or client tailored trainings, which can be used for verifiable CPD units in the annual CPD return.
The number of Continued Professional Development (CPD) Units is equal to the number of PwC trainings’ academic hours. 1 academic hour = 1 CPD Unit.
