Our survey in 2011 mainly examined where CEOs saw new opportunities for growth and development
after the outbreak of the financial crisis and how they can defend themselves against emerging risks. Local CEOs thought that
the solution for the crisis lied in changing their strategies, innovation, and a more focused development of company transactions and client relationships. The survey also revealed
significant differences between the international and Hungarian results: local companies put much less emphasis on global spreading than global CEOs.
Another significant difference was that globally many of the CEOs (43%) reported that they have serious difficulties finding and keeping talented workforce. In contrast, locally CEOs are satisfied with the availability of talents, moreover, keeping them became a lot more easier in this economic situation.
