Light at the end of the tunnel?

The Hungarian M&A market showed a clear improvement in terms of the number of deals closed in the first half of 2010. 45 deals contemplated in the first half of 2010, whereas only 29 deals closed in H1 2009. It is important and positive news that the financial investors had returned already in H2 2009 and their return seems have stabilized.

Entertainment & media sector experienced the highest number of deals. Even in the conditions of the economic crisis, the M&A activity in this sector did not show signs of abating.
