New Country Managing Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Hungary

Russell W. Lambert (47) has been appointed Country Managing Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Hungary, taking over leadership of the Firm following the retirement of Malcolm Best who has led the firm for five years.

The Hungarian market offers many opportunities to the advisory firms, including the challenges of the changing business environment, European Union membership and the ever-changing regulatory environment.

Russell W. Lambert has more than 20 years' experience in the profession and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Rusty is originally from the United States however has spent the last 15 years as an expatriate working in the CEE region. Before moving to Hungary three years ago he worked in Russia with responsibilities for International Tax Services, International Assignment Services, Human Resource Consulting as well as client service responsibilities for major Multinational and Russian companies in the Consumer and Industrial Products sector. Before moving to Moscow, he was the Territory Senior Partner for Central Asia and the Country Managing Partner of the Kazakhstan member firm. He is married with two daughters.
