A competition in the Czech Republic for athletes with disabilities

Budapest, 7 July 2009

1400 participants from 35 countries will take part in the Global Games, the worldwide games for athletes with an intellectual disability. The Hungarian team is strong, and is expected to win a few medals.

The members of the Hungarian team will participate in every event except for tennis. They will compete in table tennis, track and field events, football, swimming, cycling, basketball and judo.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has been helping the Hungarian Parasport Association for over four years. The Budapest office of PwC provides financial support and volunteers, who assist in staging the various sports events the Association organises. By sponsoring them, PwC would like to express its admiration for the extraordinary achievements of these athletes.
