Alumni Program is operated by PricewaterhouseCoopers Hungary Ltd. (registration number issued by the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information: 01-09-961102) and PricewaterhouseCoopers Auditing Ltd. (registration number issued by the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information: 01-09-063022) (jointly referred to as “PwC Hungary” or “we”), both having registered address at Wesselényi u. 16., 1077 Budapest, Hungary. Alumni Program is for those who worked with PwC Hungary and participated in the development of our firm and now they continue their professional career in other positions on the market. By applying to the Alumni Program you will become an Alumni Club member and will stay informed and updated on our initiatives, networking activities and events which help us building and maintaining lifelong relationships.
PricewaterhouseCoopers Hungary Ltd. and PricewaterhouseCoopers Auditing Ltd. qualify as data controllers under Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-determination and Freedom of Information of any identifiable personal data collected from you. PwC Hungary is strongly committed to safeguarding the privacy of information provided to it. By registering for the Alumni Program and submitting any identifiable personal data, you agree to the use of such data by PwC Hungary in accordance with this privacy statement. Use of data
When you provide personal data to us, we use it solely for the purposes for which it was provided to us as stated at the point of collection (or as is obvious from the context of collection). Personal data provided in respect of the Alumni Program will be used in particular for the following purposes:
Disclosure to third parties
Our policy is not to share personal data with any third parties, unless required by law, or unless explicitly requested by the individual or otherwise as set out in this section. We recognise that your information is valuable and we take all reasonable measures to protect your information while it is in our care.
Personal data which has been submitted to us may be disclosed across geographical borders to other member firms or associated firms in the PwC network of firms, or any third parties working with us or on our behalf where this is necessary to meet the purpose for which the individual has submitted the information. We may also store personal data in a jurisdiction other than where the individual is based. However, we have taken steps to ensure that all such entities protect information and data adequately. In relation to any other third parties we will only disclose information where the individual has given consent or where we are required to do so by law, or where it is necessary for the purpose of, or in connection with legal proceedings or in order to exercise or defend legal rights. By submitting personal data to us, the individual is providing explicit consent to such transfer – including transborder transfer - of data.
PwC Hungary may transfer personal data to third party data processors – besides PwC member firms – that provide sufficient level of technical and organisational guarantees. PwC Hungary may use external service providers in performing regular server maintenance, data storage or other IT tasks according to generally accepted data protection practice.
We have implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security in order to protect personally identifiable data and information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. However, despite our best efforts, security cannot be absolutely guaranteed against all threats. To the best of our ability, we ensure that all appropriate confidentiality obligations and technical and organisational security measures are in place to prevent any unauthorised or unlawful disclosure or processing of such information and data, and the accidental loss or destruction of or damage to such information and data. Only authorised personnel are provided access to such information and these employees have agreed to ensure confidentiality of this information.

When personal data is retained, we do not assume responsibility for verifying the ongoing accuracy of such data. When practically possible, if we are informed that any personal data collected by us is no longer accurate, we will make appropriate corrections based on the updated information provided by the individual concerned.
If you would like details of the information which you have submitted to us, you have a right of access to such information and you may contact us via the above contact details. We may charge for a request for access in accordance with applicable laws.
Termination of your membership, deletion of personal data
Should you choose to terminate your Alumni Club membership, you may contact us by email to email@example.com. ,
You may ask us to delete all your personal data controlled by us by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org however, this may trigger termination of your Alumni Club membership.
Personal data submitted to us will only be retained until the Alumni Program operates.
